papermaking
Exploration into human vulnerability has led me to paper and plant based materials. I enjoy the risk in working with foraged materials in that I do not know what my end product will be until it emerges from the continual experimenting. However it appears, the work is made intentionally to change and alter through time, expressing this sense that we (humans) and our art are not permanent and perhaps do not need to be to contribute to society in a meaningful and impactful way.
